Hybrid Models 2008
Sales of Hybrid Vehicles are at an all time high. Oil is over $130 a barrel and it looks as if there is no end in site. Car manufactures are dropping production on SUV’s while other rush to add an additional Hybrid option. Toyota and Honda have lead the way for years now, but that lead is starting to slow down. GM, Ford, Chrysler want a piece of the market.
What does that mean for the consumer? If availability is a factor than you will just have to stand in line. Sales of Hybrid Vehicles rose more than 38% in the first quarter of 2008. They are expected to increase two-fold by the end of the year.
