    What Is Bio-Diesel?

Bio diesel is a form of fuel that is "cleaner" and can be produced using renewable sources. It can be blended with regular diesel as in B-20 (20% Bio-80% regular Diesel) or it can be used as B-100. Bio diesel can be produced from agricultural crops to recycled vegetable oil. Unlike Ethanol, Bio diesel does not require the same amount of energy to produce it.

With the right setup, you could produce your own fuel. There are many manufacturers selling small to medium size Bio diesel kits that allow you to produce you own fuel. Please remember, You can NOT run Bio diesel in just any old car. You must have a “Diesel” engine.

Bio diesel has fewer harmful emissions compared to petroleum diesel. It is the only alternative fuel to have been tested by the EPA. On top of all this, Bio Diesel is cheaper, even at the pumps.
